Our roots trace back to 1975 when Chili’s, Inc. was started in Dallas, TX as
a neighborhood restaurant that served quality food in a casual atmosphere.
In 1983, Chili’s was acquired by Norman Brinker, a leader in the restaurant
Industry, and in 1991 we changed our name to Brinker International to
reflect our growing restaurant portfolio.
Today, Brinker has more than 100,000 employees and over 1,600 restaurants, including Chili’s Grill & Bar, Chili’s Too, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, and Maggiano’s Little Italy.
Brinker is routinely recognized as one of the best-managed and most
progressive companies in the restaurant industry. We’ve received numerous
awards and accolades that celebrate our commitment.
