1. Why is supplier diversity important to Brinker?
At Brinker, one of our core values is to value diversity in people and
perspectives. In order to be truly successful, we understand the need to
embrace diversity among our employees, guests, communities and suppliers.
We realize these groups are truly interconnected. Our suppliers are also our
guests. Together our suppliers and our employees comprise the communities
in which we serve. By generating wealth and opportunity among our suppliers,
we inevitably create a stronger and more prosperous community in which we
conduct business.
2. Why is minority or woman-owned certification important?
Due to the rigorous and stringent certification process involved in being
recognized as a minority or woman-owned supplier by a third-party accredited
organization, certification provides objective confirmation of ownership and
management status.
3. My company is not a certified minority or woman-owned company. Can my company still become an approved supplier?
In order to be recognized through our Supplier Diversity program, a company
must be certified as minority or woman-owned.
However, Brinker works with all types of companies which meet our procurement
qualifications.
If you are uncertain whether your company falls within the parameters of our
Supplier Diversity program, contact us at PurchasingSuppliers@brinker.com.
4. What happens after I submit a Supplier Profile Form?
Upon reviewing your completed Supplier Profile Form, Brinker Supplier Diversity
will contact you for any supplementary data needed.
We will share your information with the appropriate Brinker team who manages
the products and/or services you provide. Follow-up may take up to
four weeks.
If a business opportunity for your company arises, a Brinker team member
will contact you to discuss next steps. You may also contact us with any
additional questions at PurchasingSuppliers@brinker.com.
