"Innovative diversity strategies play a big part in any organization's success. But strategies alone don’t make a company great -- every team member has to feel welcomed, supported and empowered to make a difference. That kind of inclusiveness is a top priority at Brinker. That's why I'm proud to be a BrinkerHead!"

-Annette F. Green, Director of Diversity & Inclusion

What is a BrinkerHead?
BrinkerHeads are easy to find. We’re dedicated employees who love
serving the world a great taste of life! We pride ourselves on our culture that encourages teamwork, cohesiveness, and strategic thinking. To be a “BrinkerHead” is to be part of a family – one where trust and a passion for food bring everyone to the table.

Six Brinker Behaviors

There are six behaviors that guide the thoughts, decisions and action of
every BrinkerHead, every day. It's what set Brinker International apart, and Diversity is a key component.

1. Delivery on your promises.
It’s about responsibility and accountability. Each and every employee should set realistic goals and achieve them with a commitment to quality and a desire to achieve meaningful results. With this thinking as a guide, one can actively pursue personal and professional aspirations with the full knowledge that the organization supports them with integrity and honesty.

2. Ensure everything you do adds value.
A great organization is fully aligned with its employees and vice versa. Brinker expects each employee to understand the company strategy and the customer’s needs and to produce superior results that are based on the company’s values

3. Think globally. Act locally.
Each of us can have an impact, and if we approach problems with thoughtful consideration, that impact can be a powerful positive force. So, while we focus on addressing the problems of today, we always keep in mind how our individual work can provide the building blocks for the future and benefit the organization as a whole.

4. Value diversity in people and prospectives.
One must listen actively and act thoughtfully to create an organization open to new ideas and the people who suggest them. We do this by consistently treating people with dignity and respect and encouraging the expression of unique perspectives.

5. Take worthwhile risks.
In order to be a dynamic organization, we must embrace productive changes in how we do things. So, we overcome challenges by using innovative, sound solutions that enhance our business, engage and empower others and improve our future.

6. Play well together.
When you work in an environment that promotes openness, respect, collaboration and the pursuit of excellence, you work better. Our goal is always to build relationships and find common ground so that our organization and our people can flourish.
